About Me

I have a diverse educational and nursing background.  I earned my first Bachelors of Science in Physiology degree from Oklahoma State University, and later my Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Oklahoma City University.  I also earned my Masters of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.   I have been inducted into the Golden Key Honors Society as well as Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for nursing.   I worked for nearly a decade as a Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse in a variety of critical care settings before following my passion into psychiatry and mental health.
